Lecture: Introduction to Photography

On the first class of Introduction to Photography, Mr Vinod(our lecturer) briefed us about this elective subject with the marking criteria for our assignments that we will be going through this 18 weeks for our first semester. And yet, he shared his knowledge about the better ways for choosing a better quality camera to us. He taught of the CCD sizes and what are the effects of the power of lens to the quality of a picture. It can be very confusing to understand and is best explained by a diagram showing the various relative sizes of different types of sensors.

Mr Vinod then showed us some of his photographs that he took during his career as a Professional Photographer. After that, he told us about our first assignment which is a presentation of our top 5 best pictures by ourselves and top 5 pictures that we like by many different photographers.
