Exercise 1 (Presentation)
Lecture: Introduction to Photography (Presentation)
So basically, during the second week of lecture, I have been introduced six of different professional who are succeed in Photography. Mr. Vinod shown us those photos that he likes by those professionals. Near the end of the class, we were told to please ensure we are equipped with a camera (must have a manual mode) and a tripod for the next class.
After we have done with our presentation, we were be introduced a fashion Photographer which is Herb Ritts. He began his photographic career in the late 70's and gained a reputation as a master of art and commercial photography. Much of his works are on Black and White. He is able to work or produce those photography with "White in White". For example:
He is such a creative crazy designer. He gets the idea with added some water in order to bring out or even achieve what he wants on his work with the "White in White". Last, we were be recommend by Mr. Vinod to visit his page which is http://www.herbritts.com
Mark Seliger is one of the Professional in Photography which likes by Mr. Vinod. He is a famous guy who are in works of Rolling Stone. He has done his picture for a particular magazine. Unfortunately, I got to know from Mr. Vinod that his good photography couldn't be found in internet, because internet was not yet born that time.

Next Professional Photographer that come on is Prabuddha Dasgupta.He was a self-taught photographer who grew up in the cultural chaos of post-colonial India. He is an incredible India photographer based in Italy. Mr. Vinod named his works as "honest fashion". The following picture is one of the picture that shown by Mr. Vinod.
I got to learn that, in this photo, he is actually wants to bring out the flowers. He chose to blured the beautiful face. Right here, I understood that even is blurred. I still got to know even feel that she is a very pretty girl through the light.
And so, Richard Avedon is one of my favourite Professional Photographer too. He is one of the most elegant fashion photographers.
The next person Manoj Jadhav. He is the senior of Mr. Vinod. When Mr. Vinod was in the first yesr, and Manoj Jadhav was in the forth year for photographer. He can't call as Photographer because he is a pure artist and visual artist. Basically he can do everything. He went to the place who man wants to become woman in India for shooting. He shoot a whole series of Photo Walk in Bombay. And so, He is able to disarm people there. Sad case here, I couldn't find any picture of him when he is during his career in Bombay. Lastly, Raghu Rai is one of the photographers that Mr. Vinod introduce to us.

"It is said that she was ‘the only man in her Cabinet’, and how powerful Indira Gandhi was can be gauged from this photograph shot in 1970, during a meeting with her MLAs from Gujarat."

"This was a few days before Republic Day in 1990. I wanted a ‘different’ shot, something that could not be had from the stands on the big day. Luckily I found this shoeshine boy giving a finishing touch in a back lane near Central Secretariat."
After introducing those photographers, Mr. Vinod then showed us his work and showed what he had done and work with during his career as a photographers.
Instructions:
1. equipped with a camera (must have a manual mode) and a tripod for the next class.
2. Get the research on aperture.
3. Update Week 1 post with reflection and feedback.
4. Update E-Portfolio with Week 2.
Feedback: (Presentation)
Specific feedback: So, the feedbacks I get from Mr. Vinod after present was. My contains are fine yet, I do need a little more detail when I was delivering my informations. And so, I could need a little more information for my first assignment (reason). Mr. Vinod asked I do can add those details such as the background story for those pictures and I do need to get to know what camera or even the lens are used by those professionals.
Second, I do confidence enough with the informations that I am delivering but one important thing that I missed up was. "Do not stop in between when I am delivering my information" because this may not get interest in my future presentation to those company. Mr. Vinod told me that this is fine because I will get to learn it in my next presentation.
Reflection: (Presentation)
I was really need to brush up my presentation skills. I do need to increase my volume during the presentation either. Do not over nervous before present because this caused I did not get to deliver my idea or information well. I should be more relax and get at least 80% prepare before present. Speak up my volume is a must as well!
Reflection: (Week 2 Lecture)
Throughout this lecture class, I have gain a lot of the knowledge of photography by those professional. I wish I could have to learn those skill and achieve my dream. I will try it hard and pay 100% attention in class in a must too!
